Kookys in Randals

When I  started out making Kookys I started with a hanger.

There has been a few protos but generally the idea was the same I wanted a wide stable hanger to fit randal plates , and was born the Kooky hanger . From those hangers came the complete kookytruck.

But the hangers still work very well in the Randal plates and peolpe still ask this so here is a pic of a deck set up with the mix of the two.

hes one of the better riders around so its nice to see one of Jackson Shapiera's boards set up with kookys,

well being down and out an't to much fun, Ive been out for what seems like for ages, Ive had the od skate  here and there but nothing to much to talk about.

just cant seem to shake it. anyhow i did go for a skate in the weekend and got a mouthful of miggy flys yuk yuk yuk. splatter, spring is in the air and so are these things,

I did say a while back I was looking at doing a stress test on the Kooky axles , thats still coming..

I must say Im continually being impressed at the array of longboard decks and gear being produced.

I want so much .. have to way up the I need to I want . I found a fully set up board in a cupboard last week Id forgotten I had ,,,how sad is that. well summmer is coming so hopefully I'll get out more.

the Kookys are being picked up by many riders from around the globe,Thanks for the support and may your rides be sweet.

there are still 200s and 180s available if your thinking of an early christmas present.

I stumbled on a disused goverment property with good roads and some pot holes, but hey ..

I love finding places like that . just want some time off and sunshine now so I can go play.

and work on my cornering-and  mongo footbraking.

180 test ride

yah we had what feels like the first full weekend of sunshine  so after the lawns where mowed and the garden was weeded...yes Im just like the rest of you . fighting for skateing time when ever I can get it.

So I got to take the the bomhills out with the 180s ..as I thought they are smooth responcive and stable all in all Im pleased .

I had a mix of black kiro yellow randal back ...orange tracker barrel yellow randal front. I'll try white Jimz all round next time.

personally i like the feel of a stiffer back end to my boards.

Ive placed the new 180mm kookys on one of my favorite decks..the S9 bombhills

 

 

just waiting for the rain to stop to get out on it.
