Everyone has an old deck somewhere that would normally get binned.
I've got on here that with a little help can be brought back to life and become something you'd be proud to ride and give you a lot of fun.
Over the next week I'll post my progress and hopefully give you some ideas on how you can do the same if you have an old board collecting dust.
You'll need a good gap filler, I'm using (knead it) a polymer repair kit that is like a putty and can be pressed into cracks and holes easily.
Make sure any dust or grease is cleaned away so the putty really sticks. This stuff sets hard in 1hr.
As you can see there has been many holes drilled for different set ups over the yrs so it really is an area that has to be sorted out before new trucks are fitted.
Once you push in the putty in make sure there is a mound so when you sand it back there will be a nice smooth finish.

Make sure you push some in the back as well and yes people do forget.
Tomorrow I'll sand it back and start on shaping the rails and setting out the trucks.
